Introducing Free with Friends: Earn Credit for the Coaches You Already Recommend

Today we're launching Free with Friends, the new QuickCoach referral program. It's open to every coach on QuickCoach, on the Free plan or on Pro.

Here's how it works. Refer a coach to Pro and you'll get $10 off your monthly subscription for the first six months of theirs. They get 50% off their first 2 months. Refer three coaches and your Pro sub is fully covered for half a year. Refer more and the credit keeps stacking.

That's the short version. Here's why we built it.

The growth nobody planned

When we sat down to look at how QuickCoach has actually grown to more than 40,000 coaches, the answer kept coming back the same way. It wasn't paid acquisition. It wasn't a single viral moment. It was coaches telling other coaches.

In gym group chats. In DMs. In passing conversations at trade shows. The most common way a new coach finds QuickCoach is because someone they trust mentioned it.

We've never paid anyone for that.

Free with Friends changes that.

What you get

For every coach you refer who upgrades to QuickCoach Pro:

• You get $10 off your monthly Pro subscription
• That credit applies every month for the first six months of their subscription
• There's no cap on the number of coaches you can refer
• The credits stack, so three active referrals means $30 off your subscription each month

Refer enough coaches consistently and QuickCoach Pro stops being a line item on your expenses. Credits only ever reduce your Pro bill, but at three active referrals that bill drops to zero.

And you don't need to be on Pro to start sharing your code. Credits apply in any month you're on Pro, so once you upgrade, a few active referrals can cover QuickCoach Pro in full. That's the idea behind the name.

What they get

The coach you refer gets 50% off their first 2 months of QuickCoach Pro. That's a meaningful discount to try the platform properly, without making it feel like a free trial that attracts tyre-kickers. After two months, they're on standard Pro pricing.

How to start

Your unique referral code is live in your QuickCoach dashboard right now. Share it however you want: a quick DM, a post in a coach group chat, a mention on a podcast, a line in your newsletter.

When a coach signs up with your code and starts their Pro subscription, the referral will appear in your dashboard. Credits begin after their first successful Pro payment, and you'll be notified by email when each one applies.

The fine print

Credits stop if your referred coach cancels their Pro subscription. They pause if your own Pro subscription lapses. Self-referrals and obvious gaming will be flagged and reversed. None of it is designed to be punitive, just clean.

Why now

QuickCoach was acquired by Hale Health late last year, and one of the first questions we asked was how the product had grown this far. The answer was clear. Word of mouth from coaches who genuinely believed in the tool.
