The work is often a mix of mat and home programming delivered one-to-one, sitting alongside studio classes that coaching software does not schedule. Rosters sit closer to 5, 12 and 20 clients than the 50-plus lists a strength coach might carry, and that shape changes what Pilates coaching software costs at each step. One thing to name up front. Coaching software programmes mat and home work cleanly. It does not run class bookings, studio scheduling, or the waitlist for a Tuesday reformer slot. At 5 clients
Five clients is where most practising Pilates instructors start thinking about software. It is also the one breakpoint where a genuinely free tier covers the roster across more than one platform.

The honest read at 5 clients: QuickCoach Free and Everfit Starter both cover the roster at $0, with QuickCoach holding four times the headroom (20 clients versus 5). If branding matters to your acquisition, the cheapest branded-app path is Everfit Pro at $19/mo, with the usual note that Everfit's branding is logo and colours rather than a full App Store listing. The next-cheapest branded route is PT Distinction Pro at $59.90/mo, which gives you custom-branded iOS and Android apps and 25 clients of room. Twelve is the breakpoint where free options run out for most platforms and paid tiers start to matter. It is also the point where a flat unlimited plan starts looking cheaper than a per-client or slider model.

At 12 the spread widens. QuickCoach Free still covers the roster at $0, and PT Distinction Pro at $59.90 is the cheapest paid route to a branded app. Trainerize Pro 15 at $50/mo is competitive on price but the branded app adds $169 up front plus the annual Apple fee, and the nutrition add-on stacks another $20/mo if you want it. TrueCoach Standard at $69.98 is the standard plan most instructors land on, with custom theming included but no full white-label option anywhere in the line-up. At 20, QuickCoach Free still covers the roster with no time limit, and no competitor matches that. The cheapest paid competitor is Everfit Pro 20 at roughly $49/mo, followed by PT Distinction Pro at $59.90/mo (the only paid option at this roster that bundles branded apps into the headline price). Trainerize Pro 30 at $79/mo climbs noticeably once you add the $45/mo nutrition add-on and the $169 branded-app setup. My PT Hub Premium at $105/mo is the floor for that platform, since its Starter caps at 3 clients. Where free fits, where Pro is honest, what the competitor stack costs
The pattern across the three breakpoints is consistent. Below 20 clients, QuickCoach Free covers the roster with no time limit and no add-on stack, which is the honest free-tier fit. The 12-client solo instructor is the point where paid tiers across the rest of the market start to matter, because Everfit's free tier has already capped at 5 and Trainerize never had a working free tier to begin with.
Pro at $39/mo, or $32.50/mo on the $390/year annual plan, is the honest upgrade point. It is a flat unlimited-client price rather than a slider that climbs with roster size, and the branded client app, multi-habit tracking, nutrition in client plans, push notifications and priority support all sit inside that single figure. The two optional add-ons (Coach Workflows at $14.99/mo and Nutrition Booster Pack at $12.99/mo for barcode scanning) are billed separately and never required. Most Pilates instructors never need them.
By contrast, the competitor stack adds up quickly. A Trainerize Pro 30 instructor who wants a branded app, nutrition, payments and video coaching pays $79 plus $45 (nutrition) plus $10 (Stripe) plus $10 (video) plus the $169 setup and $99/year Apple fee, which lands well above $140/mo before the one-off. A TrueCoach Standard instructor pays $69.98 and still does not get a full white-label App Store listing. A My PT Hub Premium instructor pays $105 and then chooses between a $145 one-time branded icon or $225/mo for their own App Store listing. PT Distinction Pro is the cleanest competitor stack at $59.90 with branded apps included, but it has no annual discount and the 25-client cap is closer than it looks.
The partial-fit note matters here too. None of these platforms run your studio class bookings. If you teach reformer groups alongside your mat and home programming, you will still need a separate scheduling tool. QuickCoach, Trainerize, TrueCoach, Everfit, My PT Hub and PT Distinction all handle the one-to-one programming side. None of them handle the group class timetable.

Every price on this page is transcribed from the pricing record we maintain, last verified July 2026 and re-checked quarterly against each platform's public pricing page. We do not invent figures, round them, or pull them from memory or older drafts. Where a platform uses a slider (Trainerize Pro, Everfit Pro and Studio), we cite the specific slider breakpoint for the roster in question rather than implying one flat price. Where a tier does not cover a roster breakpoint, we step up to the next tier that does, or note Custom for the ones that require a sales call. Annual figures are the per-month effective rate on annual billing, kept separate from the monthly figure, never blended.
